Find Your Next Page-Turner!

A book, whether it is a novel, a memoir, a collection of short stories or poetry…no matter what genre, is always a labor of love. Thus, I will always do my best to treat the stories I review with respect, even if I might end up personally not liking them. And if you hope to see your own story among these titles one day, please do reach out.

I don’t use a star system here even if I might have to on other review sites. Instead, I use the following system to rate what I read:

  •  Loved It: If you enjoy books within this genre, you should probably get your hands on a copy of this right now.
  •  Worth Reading: There are a few minor problems in plot, characterization, or proofing that prevent me from calling it a loved it.
  •  Needs More Work:  The book has enormous potential but for whatever reason, the content, proofing, or formatting keeps it from being a truly enjoyable read.
  •  Skip It:  Glaring issues with plot and characterization as well as potential issues with formatting and proofing too. It takes a lot for me to put a book in this category.
