Investing and Side Hustles

Like most others I know, a little extra money coming in every month never hurts. And while the dishes might be future me’s problem more often than I’d like, I also don’t forget to invest in her either. Please understand that none of these are get-rich schemes though. Instead, they are meant to be ways to earn a few extra dollars that don’t feel like I’m sacrificing all of my free time to do them. Or that I (and hopefully you) might even enjoy!

There might be some overlap between the categories below, particularly the mobile apps page. For the most part though, there should be unique resources on each page that can be used to help develop a side income. Again, most of these might have an element to make them ‘fun’ instead of just focusing on getting the maximum profit. Every single site or app listed will be something I’ve been able to actually withdraw money or the equivalent of money from unless very explicitly stated.

  • Task Sites: Most of these will be micro-earners. Watch a video here, or complete a survey there to earn some small amount of change up to several dollars.
  • Mobile Apps: The amount of apps promising to let you earn real money has exploded recently. And most of them are sadly scams where you might meet the ‘minimum’ amount required to withdraw but then say you must watch an ever-moving line of ads that you can never actually reach to finally process the withdrawal. A mix of rewards can be earned through these apps ranging from gift cards to PayPal deposits to crypto.
  • Crypto and Traditional Trading: A mixture of places you can earn or store cryptocurrency as well as more information on how and where to get started with this type of investing. Traditional stocks and some tips on trying to get into real estate investing is also included.
