Play a variety of unique or traditional games and earn payouts in either bitcoin or US Dollars.

As of right now, all 9 game apps that Bling Financial has up and running are available on both the App Store and Google Play. Every time a new one releases, that seems to be done simultaneously for both.

Most of the games offered should be recognizable favorites just often with a cryptocurrency visual flavor. Match 3 or pop bubbles using the various coins instead of other shapes. The reason you might want to switch from any games you could currently be using to these is that you earn while you play. Even if you might get a bad hand of solitaire, you will still earn!

As far as play-to-earn opportunities go, this is one of my personal favorites. Do I get a whole lot from it? Honestly, no. But the biggest draw for me is just how much I already like playing some of these games (particularly the sudoku and solitaire). I’m going to be playing them anyway, and usually have to deal with ads there too. Getting a payoff for that time spent makes it feel less wasted to me.

I’ll cover Bling further below, but here is a quick snapshot of just what to expect going in.

The Good:
  • There doesn’t appear to be a minimum threshold to withdraw anymore. Even when there was, you could reach that amount in 3-4 games usually.
  • Withdraws directly to Coinbase or PayPal which makes it ideal for a lot of US players.
  • There are 9 different app (one for each game), but each shares the same balance.
  • Win or lose, you earn from each game.
The Bad:
  • You are required to watch an ad before virtually each play of a game.
  • Payouts can only be done once a week.
  • There are a certain many plays you can do of a certain game within a certain time period. Used to be 15, is now 20.
  • Higher difficulties on the games don’t equal higher payouts from what I’ve seen.

If the cons haven’t scared you away yet, please take a look at some more in-depth information about the app’s systems. You can learn about the many games that Bling Financial has on offer and why I feel this is one of the best play-to-earn opportunities out there.

When Bling Financial uses the phrase play to earn, they mean it. The games remain the focus of everything they do, with a total of 9 now appearing in both android and apple app stores. Though each game is a separate download, they all share the same account. Don’t like a game? Don’t worry, you won’t lose the balance you’ve already earned on it.

Right now, the slate of games include:

  • Ethereum Blast
  • Bitcoin Pop
  • Bitcoin Blast
  • Sweet Bitcoin
  • Bitcoin Solitaire
  • Bitcoin Blocks
  • Bitcoin Sudoku
  • Bitcoin Food Fight
  • Word Breeze

Unlike many other sites and apps in the play to earn category, Bling Games don’t offer any type of incentive to refer new users. That means I do not profit in any way from sharing the link to those apps, other than knowing I may have introduced someone to this awesome new thing. There also aren’t any consistent extra ways to pad your Bling balance either. You play, you earn, you watch an ad to play again.

There are occasional bonus times that will net you more profit per game though. Sometimes it’s holiday based, but that appears to be a bit hit or miss. More often, this is done when a new game gets added to the lineup or Bling reaches a milestone (4th anniversary here recently). They’ll introduce bonus coin offers either in specific games or across all of them depending. Since all games share a central balance, take advantage of those bonus offers.

Many of the Bling Games have Bitcoin or another cryptocurrency in their title, but I am pleased to say they’ve now offered PayPal and US Dollars as an option. That means you have the option of deciding between either Coinbase or PayPal for the payout when you cash in all the coins you’ve earned across their games. I have personally been able to withdraw multiple times, and using both methods. The payouts are usually within 30 minutes of me choosing to do so, though they warn it can take up to 48 hours. I haven’t seen anything about a minimum for payout recently (used to 30,000 bling coins), but you are limited to cashing out only once a week.

Many users complain about the payouts being low. The conversion is very transparent: 10,000,000 Bling Coins/Points equals .0001BTC. If you are choosing to cash out in US Dollars instead, the conversion is based on the current bitcoin price referenced at Coinbase. No, that amount won’t make you rich. But you are earning real currency for playing games you will hopefully enjoy, and a valid payout with no gimmicks is hard to find.
